How to know which one your system uses.  This information can be found in the paperwork our technician left with you when you first setup your system.  If you need assistance please call the Reliance Office at 1-800-241-1250. 

If you want to play detective, call the Central Stations below one by one and see if the Operator can locate your account using your area code and phone number.  Once they find your records, you will still need to have your PASS CODE to set up a test or obtain information.  Therefore, go to where you wrote down the Pass Code, and there you should find the number for the correct Central Station.

Important:  The Central Station Account Code (a site ID number which is transmitted by your communicator), the Accounts Receivable Account Number (which appears on your invoices) and the Pass Code (the number or word you give the Operator to cancel a dispatch) are not the same thing.

 

 

Q.  Why does Reliance Alarm Company use more than one Central Station?

A.  First, if a Central Station owner or staff member sends a sales referral, guess which Central Station are we going to connect the new subscriber into.

Second, we don't believe in putting all our eggs in one basket.  There's a story I can tell to justify this philosophy.

Third, I get to compare the competing companies continuously, and I can keep them all on their toes.

Last, certain Central Stations have phone connections, equipment, services and handling procedures that are better adapted to specific customer equipment and service needs.

Q. Doesn't it get confusing?

A. It can if you don't know who your customers are.  (My customers are frequently surprised when I recognize them by their voice and greet them before they tell me who they are.)  Only once in a while do I have to look up a subscriber's records to see which Central Station they are using, but I occasionally double check anyway.
